LESSONS

I have been teaching professionally for over 22 years — 15 of them at my studio space in Midtown Manhattan. I accept students of all ages and all experience levels. I hold degrees in Jazz Studies and Communications from Rutgers University. Both kits in my studio are networked into my recording setup so that we can both wear sound isolating headphones while in a session. This allows us to communicate over the volume of a drums, listen to music at reasonable levels and most importantly, protect our hearing (which is especially important for young drummers.)

If you can’t make it in to the teaching space in person, I also offer virtual lesson via Zoom. I currently have students located in over five countries, from the United States to Germany.
